Review of To Shape the Dark

Oh, look! My review of To Shape the Dark, a wonderful new anthology edited by Athena Andreadis, is live today, over at Strange Horizons.

Athena Andreadis is an editor and owner of Candlemark and Gleam, a small press dedicated to published quality science fiction. This collection is a companion to her early anthology, The Other Half of the Sky, and like that anthology features stories about women protagonists -- in this case, women scientists.

While we're looking at anthologies, I'll mention that Hidden Youth, an anthology put out by Kay Holt's publishing house (Kay Holt was Andreadis's co-editor for The Other Half of the Sky) is available starting today.

Hidden Youth is a companion to Long Hidden, the award-winning anthology put out by Crossed Genres in 2015. Like Long Hidden, Hidden Youth is a collection of speculative stories about people -- in this case, young people -- whose stories are not usually told.
